Meet our new Community Art Hub Coordinator!

 Hello community!

My name is Jax and I am the new Community Art Coordinator for the Art Hub! I am pleased to announce that I will be hosting the Art Hub Tuesday to Friday for drop in makerspace hours.

Tues & Wednesday: 12pm to 5pm

Thursdays: 3pm to 8pm

Fridays: 12pm to 5pm

If you would like to get in touch about volunteering with the Community Art Hub or to set up an art workshop, give me an email at alterartssociety@gmail.com

A little bit about me: I am an activist, a community organizer and a flow artist! I have a Bachelor of Arts form UVic with a major in Gender Studies and a minor in Business. I recently managed the Victoria Cannabis Buyers Club, Canada's oldest medical compassion club. I was also an integral leader for the Fern Burn Club, our local fire spinning community organization. I am a long time burner, and am deeply invested in the performing arts and electronic dance communities in Victoria, BC.

I am so looking forward to co-creating some artistic magic with you all and to foster a community drop in art space that feels like home.

See you soon!
