The Quadra Village Mural Project
Watch for new murals coming to Quadra Village during this year's Out There Art Festival.
Ruth Margaret and Andrea Fritz
The new home of the Beacon Community Services Thrift shop (formerly Party Crashers) on Quadra Street just south of Hillside will be home to not one, but two new murals this year. Local artists Ruth Margaret and Andrea Fritz will each be enhancing one side of the new thrift shop location.
Andrea Fritz
This great little parklet installed just opposite Wark Street Park by the Hillside-Quadra Neighbourhood Action Committee, with support from a City of Victoria My Great Neighbourhood Grant, will be brought to life by Andrea Fritz during the festival.
Tasha Diamant and Tatiana Makovkin
Local artists Tasha Diamant and Tatiana Makovkin will be painting the south side of the Blue Bridge Theatre at the Roxy, adding a wonderful new mural to the neighbourhood that is sure to get you all fired up.
Kleque Method
This simple wood panel between local favourite Part and Parcel and the Terific Hair Salon will be enlivened by local artist Kleque Method, who is known for her lively designs, featuring bold colours and variety of shapes.

Alter Arts Society is a registered non-profit organization and community initiative by and for artists located on the traditional territories of the Lək̓ʷəŋən people.
Those of us who are uninvited visitors to these territories, respectfully seek opportunities to unlearn oppressive, colonial practices that we have benefited from, and to follow the lead of the Indigenous stewards of these lands. We are committed to questioning existing power structures, supporting the decolonization of our society and institutions, and supporting Indigenous self-determination.
