Saturday, August 28th
Live Painting - Join local artist Kleque Method at Part and Parcel (2656 Quadra St) at 1pm to watch her transform a simple wood panel between local favourite Part and Parcel (2656 Quadra Street) and the Terific Hair Salon into a lively design with personality that depicts movement, includes fun elements, and perhaps even some silliness.
The Art Lark - A funny and engaging mini art lesson and activity for kids, will be hosted by the delightful Art Lark at Wark Street Park, starting at 1pm.
Musical Performances - Victoria Afrofusion Artist Nirvanhai O’Raahikojo will be performing at 1pm, 1:30pm, 2pm behind the Capital Bike offices at Hillside Avenue and Fifth Street. Also performing will be Wych, a singer/songwriter with a variety of instruments.
Storyteller Jennifer Ferris - Head over to 1130 Vista Heights at 3:30 or 7pm for a half hour of storytelling with acclaimed local storyteller Jennifer Ferris. Entertaining and engaging for both adults and children of all ages.
Theatre SKAM - Sit on the field closest to Quadra and Kings at 950 Kings Road (formerly Blanshard Elementary) to catch a performance at 3:30, 4:00, or 4:30pm.
Sunday, August 29th
Music Under the Tower - Fabulous local musicians will be performing live at the Stage under the Tower at Summit Park Stage.
Meet the Artist - Charlotte Friend - Emerging artist Charlotte Friend, who began painting at the beginning of the pandemic, will share her works featuring tall trees, owls, and the various colour and light combinations that nature magically puts together to provide the world’s backdrop from 9:45am to 1pm at 1160 Vista Heights.
Spoken Word with Youth Poet Laureate James Summer & Friends - A special performance from local youth poets behind the Razzle Dazzle building at Wark Street Park, starting at 1:30pm.
Love in Apocalyptic Times (mature themes) - Join poet honeysucklemarie and sound artists Dirac and emmmceeedeee from 2-4pm at 2840 Graham Street (between Vista Heights and Topaz) for a poetry and sound art collaboration featuring shadow work, psychology and intra/interpersonal relating with sounds, beats and music. The piece engages with the struggles and triumphs of relating in difficult and uncertain times, where our understanding of family, partnerships, friendship and community can shift and morph by challenging and sitting with what it is to love ourselves and each other in ways that are healthy, grounded and enduring.
Storyteller Jennifer Ferris - Acclaimed Victoria storyteller Jennifer Ferris will be back at 3:30 and 7pm for a half hour of storytelling at 1130 Vista Heights. Entertaining and engaging for both adults and children of all ages.

Community Art Hub Open House - Stop by Alter Arts Society's new Community Art Hub at the Quadra Village Community Centre (around back, access from Dowler) from 10am - 6pm to check out this fabulous new makerspace for artists, offering workshops and drop-in childminding. Donations of art-making equipment and supplies are welcome.

Field behind the Razzle Dazzle building (2549 Quadra Street)
The Food Kart - The Quadra Village Community Centre’s Food Skills for Youth Program is proud to bring beef and veggie hot dogs with all the fixings to the field behind the Razzle Dazzle building (2549 Quadra)! The King which comes with caramelized onions, cheese and bacon bits is always a crowd-pleaser! All proceeds support the Food Skills for Youth Program.
Bubble Dave - Dave the Bubble Guy will be creating soapy sculptures in real time from 4pm on at the field behind the Razzle Dazzle building at 2549 Quadra Street.
Groovy Beats in the Sun - In partnership with Footworks Entertainment, a series of DJs will bring you beats in a variety of genres from House to Liquid Drum & Bass to deep melodic dubstep for your listening pleasure from noon to 9pm out back of the Razzle Dazzle Building at 2549 Quadra St. More info and DJ bios at https://www.facebook.com/events/254478933166219

Dancing Out There - An improvisational dance duet showing how two people relate in the moment through physical expression will take to the stage in the parking lot at 950 Kings Road (formerly Blanshard Elementary) at 12:30, 1:20 and 2pm.

Victoria Academy of Ballet - Bring a blanket or a chair and take a seat on the field behind the Razzle Dazzle Building at 2549 Quadra Street to be treated to an upbeat contemporary dance piece called Sway. Choreographed by Victoria’s own Alysa Pires (Alysa Pires Dance Projects) this four-minute piece will be performed three times at 2, 2:30, and 3pm.
Sideshow Carnies, presented by Broad Theatrics - Step right up, townies and rubes, for this fabulous performance behind the Razzle Dazzle Building at 2549 Quadra Street! In the Great Depression of 1931, a few travelling Carnies have been left stranded – but will entertain you while they await pickup. The Barker introduces each astonishing act: The Multilingual Elocutionist! The World’s Strongest Man! The Mesmerizing Mentalist! And the sultry Snake Lady! Not for the faint of heart! This family-friendly short play with comedy, improv, puppetry and music will be starting at 2:10, 2:40, 3:10, and 3:40pm.

GasoLina
Spanish/American, Canadian born Gasolina loves an off-beat, a rest note and a bouncy drum, fusing together reggaeton, afrobeat and baile funk with techno and dub. Danceable is her primary objective.
Island Circus Space
Proudly showcasing their intermediate and advanced students performing on a variety of aerial apparatuses. Each act is created by the student and gives them an opportunity to explore and express their creativity while sharing their talent and love for circus with the community.
Andrea Fritz
A Coast Salish artist and author from the Lyackson First Nation of the Hul’qumi’num speaking Peoples on the West Coast of Canada, Andrea strives to express her People’s history and all our futures using her art. She focuses on animals and scenes of the West Coast of Canada and our intricate relationships with them

"Drawing on a nomadic childhood, particularly growing up in India and Bali, I write songs about the tropics, being broke, love, and the planet. Oh and my repertoire is in the realm of funk, soul, jazz, RnB, reggae, and Hip-hop. We’re suckers for 7th chords."
Sofia Sol
Sofia Sol's bright personality is a reflection of her Latin heart. Her natural musical talent was evident from a young age and her passion for singing has been a constant all her life. Sofia's voice will transport you to a magical place and send you into a whimsical trance. Influenced by artists like Alicia Keys, H.E.R and Ariana Grande, she brings an rnb flare to her jazzy pop sound.
Acro Yoga
Certified AcroLove instructors: Alicia Sheff & Ryan Taylor will guide you through an introductory lesson focused on the basics of basing and flying, with a strong emphasis on spotting and safety. The goal of this class is to build the underlying skills that support a healthy acro practice, like communication, consent, trust and ninja-like reflexes.
Paper Street Theatre
Improviser and Storyteller Dave Morris will take you through a series of fun on your feet improv exercises designed for people of all ages and experience levels. You’ll learn a little, and laugh a lot.

MooseTraks
Born into the west coast island sound, Victoria-based MooseTraks is an energy building enigma. House inspired beats provide the backbone, while a plethora of other genres add the flair - a combination that is sure to fuel your soul through the heavy basslines and lyrical flavour. With an ever expanding skillset you never know what to expect when he steps up to the stage, but it’s guaranteed to get your body moving to the beat!
Pearl McClelland
Pearl McClelland is a 22 year old singer songwriter based out of Victoria BC on unceded
Lekwungen territory. Pearl started playing music early on in life by playing guitar, bass, and
piano. Currently she is working on her first album and hopes to get it out next summer. Some artists she takes inspiration from are Charlotte Day Wilson, Pinegrove, Clairo, and, Jorja Smith. On the flip side of the music spectrum, she could also belt out the Chicks’ Cowboy Take Me Away.
Ga Grant
Ga truly found her form as a tender art pop singer-songwriter in around 2015. Classically-trained, Ga is a pianist and multi-instrumentalist who returned to pop songwriting after her undergrad in music, blending her songs with her love of musics including electronic, electro-acoustic, jazz, and experimental. Ga writes vulnerable songs straight from her deepest emotions and experiences, sometimes described as strange and ethereal, yet catchy and haunting.
Sundog
Sundog is a bass music producer, multi instrumentalist and turntablist who spins a selection of raw bassy beats with tasteful percussion. The music he shares is infused with the influences of old school hip hop and jazz, combined with forward thinking bass music, and sound system culture. A proper blend of hard hitting beats with an organic lively feel. Rooted in a desire to deeply connect with his audience, Sundog translates his love for music into a memorable dance experience.
